CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site Engineer to work with one of our clients on a section 278 / section 38 roadworks, earthworks and stats interface project along the M20 near Aylesford, Kent. The scheme is valued around £15-20m and is expected to run for between 12 and 18 months. Our client is open to looking at both perm and freelance options so if you are interested in this type of work and are local to the area, we're very keen to speak with you regardless of your preference of engagement type. If coming in freelance we will be looking for people to start ASAP with the likelihood of running through for at least the next 12 months.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting out
- Subcontractor management
- Task briefings
- Working with AutoCAD
- Completing check sheets
- Providing technical support to the site teams
We are looking for someone who has:
- An HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Valid CSCS card
- Earthworks / groundworks experience
- Ability to work independently
