CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site Engineer to work with one of our key clients on a road widening project in Hampshire. This work is part of Highways England's regional delivery partnership aimed at upgrading the UKs road network to ease congestion and traffic build ups. This is a £30m job comprising of the widening of the dual carriageway from two to three lanes. Work will involve drainage, surfacing and structures. We are looking for someone to start ASAP with the requirement running for a minimum of 3 months. The project itself is due to run until this time next year.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting out
- QA
- Subcontractor management
- Carrying out work to the highest health & safety standards
We are looking for someone who has:
- HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Valid CSCS card
- Main contractor experience
- Highways experience
