CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site Engineer with highways experience to work with one of our key clients on a small road construction job in Enfield. Work is picking up and they are in a big push to work through as much of the programme as possible this side of Christmas so are looking for extra engineering support for this period. Work is relatively straight forward and will be focused on kerbs, asphalting and drainage. There is no weekend or nights work for this job. We are looking for someone to start ASAP, with the contract likely to run up until the end of 2021.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting out
- Keeping site diaries
- QA
- Task briefings
- Ensuring the highest H&S standards are met
- Providing technical support to the site team
We are looking for someone who has:
- An HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Valid CSCS card
- Road construction experience
- Main contractor experience
