CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site Engineer to work with one of our key clients on the early stages of a Motorway upgrade job on the M3 in Winchester on behalf of highways England. Work is currently at ground investigations stage and we are looking for someone to come on board initially for one day to help with setting up controls and then to start again a few weeks later to support the team for approx. 3 months starting in September.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Uploading coordinates to the system
- Setting up control points
- Scanning for underground services
We are looking for someone who has:
- An HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Valid CSCS card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Cat and Genny or RD8000
