CarmichaelUK are working with a major UK Construction Contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer to join their Team on a industrial build project in North West London, on a contract basis.
The project will involve the construction of a large span warehouse and staff carpark, with the contractor being responsible for the earthworks, ground works, drainage, slab, steel frame, cladding and finishing.
Works start in two weeks and will continue on a 33 week program through to the late Summer.
This role will fall outside IR35 so you may work via a Limited Company.
There will be limited parking on site.
Reporting to the PM, the engineer will be responsible for
- Site set out using a robotic total station
- As-builts and daily record keeping
- QA and HSE
- Supervising direct staff
- Earth works levels and volumes
The ideal candidate will have
- Experience with a main contractor on an industrial scale project
- Proven experience with Leica instruments and AutoCAD
- HNC or higher in an Engineering related field
- Up to date CSCS card
