Carmichael are recruiting for a Site Engineer on a rail way resignalling project in South West London for a Tier 1 main contractor.
The site Engineer will need to hold a PTS, be able to manage sub contractors, be confident with setting out and paper work.
Location: South West London
Contract: immediate start - ongoing
Competitive Day rate - negotiable

Duties:

Ensure all setting out is present and correct before work starts

Ensure all RAMS are in place and suitable prior to works commencing and being followed as works are undertaken

In conjunction with the discipline Supervisor, ensure that plant, labour and materials for each item of work are identified and available in good time

Review the drawings and specification to identify errors and omissions and bring these to the attention of the project team via TQ’s

Be fully conversant with supply chain contract conditions

Maintain program and identify opportunities. Record resources and monitor outputs against program
