Here exists a great opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to work on the early environmental works of HS2.
This post falls inside IR35
Duties include but not limited to -
- Setting out from primary control
- Provision of sketches detailing the setting out information installed
- Produce as-built drawings & records, Quality check sheets
- Produce Task Briefing Sheets
- Contribution to production of Permit to Dig, including briefing the workforce
- Carry out Safety Inspections
- Hazard Identification and contribution to development of Safe System of Work
- Keep an accurate daily diary of resources, including labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and outputs
- Production of weekly measure. Take offs and schedules materials accurately, producing accurate and clear requisitions, following through to delivery
- Maintaining accurate records
Requirements for this position -
- Well versed in setting out - ability to use level & EDM, plus GPS
- Experienced in surveying and CAD
- Must be able to take off and schedule material quantities accurately
- Valid CSCS
- SSSTS
- CAT RD800 Training
- IOSHH underground services or 5 DAY NRSWA training is desirable
