Principal Contractor specialising in the erection of reinforced concrete structures (high rise and industrial plants), seeks a Site Engineer to fulfil, amongst others, the following duties –
- Provide grid lines and controls points
- Setting out of shutters, rebar and concrete structures
- Signing off of the steel fixing as per bending schedules
- Conducting pre pour and post pour inspections
- Overseeing the construction process
- Conducting quality checks
- Implementing Method Statements and Risk Analysis
- Enforce Health and Safety standards
- Complete as-builts
The requirements for this post include
- An appropriate Building/Civils qualification
- Proficient at setting out
- Good understanding of the construction sequence
- Heavy reinforced concrete or high-rise concrete frame construction experience
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
