I’m looking for a Permanent Site Engineer to work for a Civil Engineering contractor that is resurfacing the main runway at Gatwick Airport.
The project will involve resurfacing an area of 400,000m² - with approximately 70,000t of asphalt.
Around 1.900 runway and taxiway lights, fed by 530km of electrical cabling, will also be replaced.
This is going to be night work initially and an uplift will be given on top of the salary.
Within this role you would be responsible for, but not limited to, any of the following;
Role:
* General setting out on site
* Carrying out of quality control
* Meeting deadlines
* Providing a detailed technical input
* Ensuring a safe working practice
Skills:
* Previously worked as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
* Hold a valid CSCS card.
* BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent.
