The Role
Our client has an an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join their team to work at their junction improvement project.
The Senior Engineer is an integral member of Site Operations Team, responsible for the management and quality control of the setting out for the structure, groundworks, drainage and services. You will manage the Site Engineers and be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the site throughout the delivery of the project.
Key Accountabilities

Get involved in the planning of your particular section so that you are aware when setting out control is required.

Provide for accurate setting out and control.

Manage the Site Engineers.

Managing the construction phase plan.

Keep accurate records of events affecting the project plan or disrupting the work (SI’s, CVI’s, delays, errors, etc.).

Build relationships with your team and client.

Be aware of the HSEQS policies.

Communicate on a timely basis any such event to your Sub Agent.
Skills & Experience
-
MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/ Degree in Civil Engineering.
-
CSCS
-
Excellent communication skills
-
A can do attitude to problem solving
-
Similar project experience would be advantageous
-
Knowledge and understanding of construction management
