.Carmichael UK are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a tier 1 contractor at Hinkley Point C in Somerset within the roads and networks team.
This is a long-term position offering a day rate between £350 - £400 per day PAYE.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for carrying out the technical survey, setting out and measuring works on multiple contracts as well as ensuring the paperwork and quality checks are accurate and up to date. You must have a thorough understanding of EU Codes and the ability to adapt quickly and respond to on-site requirements flexibility.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in site engineer roles, setting out, paperwork and and previous highway experience is desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential in this role, together with the ability to work autonomously and under pressure. A valid CSCS card is essential.
