CarmichaelUK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a Power Project in Norfolk
The works involve topsoil stripping a 51km cable route, installation of a 51km long temporary haul road and the subsequent reinstatement of the areas after the cable has been laid by others.
Responsibilities:

Pre-start topo surveys of work areas

Interim surveys to record topsoil stripped, cut / fill undertaken, haul road constructed etc

Production of volume reports and as built drawings in .dwg and .pdf formats from the above surveys

Receiving earthworks designs in .dxf format from the client, converting them and installing them onto the GPS excavators and dozers on site
Requirements:
-
Experience in heavy earthworks
-
Experience with GPS machine control – particularly Trimble and Topcon equipment

Good knowledge of CAD and working with 3D design information

Own laptop and software
