Looking for a remarkable Site Engineer for an exciting HS2 earthworks project? Our client is looking for the perfect candidate to join their team and be part of a fast-paced environment. Our client is a renowned contractor in the construction and infrastruction industry, with years of experience in all types of earthworks projects, particularly HS2. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the site engineering role including the management of subcontractors and personnel, as well as the implementation and coordination of different activities of the project, including surveying, identification of worksites, and inspection of materials.
- You must demonstrate:
- Ability to understand all aspects of the site engineering role of a major earthworks project
- Basic knowledge of 'bulk earthworks' and 'earthmoving'
- Ability to successfuly manage subcontractors and personnel
- Experience in implementing and coordinating different activities
- Familiarity with surveying methods, locations of worksites and material inspections
- This position is offering a starting salary of £32,000 - £38,000 depending on experience.
