.Carmichael UK are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a tier 1 contractor at Hinkley Point C in Somerset within the RC team
This is a long-term position offering a day rate between £350 - £400 per day PAYE.
For this position, your key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Assist the Section engineer and Sub Agent for all sections of the works
- Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Produce ITPs and as-builts
- Planning weekly and monthly programmes
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in site engineer roles, setting out, paperwork and and previous highway experience is desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential in this role, together with the ability to work autonomously and under pressure. A valid CSCS card is essential.
