Long term, inside IR35, opportunities exist for Site Engineers on a major infrastructure project in West Yorkshire. Civil Site Engineers experienced in the refurbishment and extension of platforms and stations, demolition and construction of bridge and RC structures, retaining walls, drainage, re-shaping of embankments, etc for Tier One or Principal Contractors on major rail/civils projects, are requested to apply.
Regular duties will include
- Setting out of the works
- Producing and implementing method statements and work package plans
- Management of subcontractors
- Task briefs and work package plans
- Quality control in accordance to specifications ITPs
- Services checks (CAT and Genny)
- Compiling as-builts
- Ordering materials
- Recording progress
- Permits
- Health and Safety compliance
Requirements:
- HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Solid recent experience gained working for a tier one or principal contractor on major rail/civil projects.
- Competent in setting out and producing as-builts.
- Valid PTS or willing and able to get one.
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, TW, AP are all advantageous.
