Carmichael UK are looking for a Site Engineer for a major water project in Cambridgeshire
Location: Cambridgeshire
Project: Water
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 4 Months (with potential to extend)
Pay Type: PAYE / Umbrella / LTD
Day Rate: £300 per day
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the RAMS. Reporting back to AW on safety, environmental and quality performance (using AW systems).

Make sure site inductions, briefings and SSoW are communicated, recorded and to the correct standard.

Be the point of contact for interested local parties and be able to deliver the corporate message about the SROs and professionally pass on information or contacts to the wider Client team.

Liaise with the Land Agents and actively manage accesses.

Run a mini programme for surveys/land entry.

Work with AW procurement to bring in plant and resources as required.

Keep the site delivery to time and budget, ensuring we do not overstay permitted development rights.

Manage the GI/SI contractors on behalf of AW (with assistance of AW commercial).

Daily records and photographs.

Be responsible for First Aid, emergency coordination and site security.

Help evaluate the GI/SI contractors before appointment and award.
