Carmichaels are seeking a Site Engineer to work on a major highways project in North London.
The scope of works includes earthworks, drainage and kerbing.
The ideal candidate would have experience and knowledge in / be familiar with:
- Series 500 & 600 of the specification for Highway Works
- Provide effective and accurate setting out for all earthworks and drainage aspects. Volume calculation of material removed / imported from and to site.
- Be familiar with temporary works – shoring systems for deep excavations.
- Be able to extract setting out information from either works information or digital model. Use of DTM models, site spatial control.
- Proficient in using Total Station, GNSS, Digital Laser Levels.
- Be actively involved in the delivery of works and assisting both site and management team.
- Tracking and monitoring of installation from a quality perspective.
- Preparation of BoQ`s and assisting management team in procurement of materials.
- Carry out and processing or 3D site as-builts.
- Use of AutoCAD and / or other survey software will be ideal.
