About the Role
We’re working with a Tier 1 main contractor on a major construction project, and we’re looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join the team.
You’ll play a key role in setting out, quality assurance, and managing documentation, with a strong focus on concrete slabs, groundworks, and reinforced concrete structures.

Responsibilities

Setting out shutters, steelwork and rebar

Carrying out surveys and level checks using GPS and Total Station equipment

Preparing and managing QA documentation, as-builts, ITPs, and daily site records

Ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications and drawings

Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams to maintain progress and standards

Supporting HSEQ standards across all site activities
Requirements

Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer within a civil or building environment

Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and slab construction

Proficient with Total Station and GPS equipment

Experience with QA processes, paperwork, and site documentation

Relevant engineering qualification (HND/Degree or equivalent)

CSCS card (essential); SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable)
