Site Engineer

We are seeking Site Engineers to join our client's team at Peterhead on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting out, monitoring earthworks, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities

• Setting Out & Surveying:

  • Accurately set out works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
  • Carry out as-built surveys and provide precise measurements for construction activities.

• Earthworks Monitoring:

  • Oversee and monitor earthworks operations to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Record and report progress against project requirements.

• Documentation & Record Keeping:

  • Maintain detailed site diaries and daily records of activities.
  • Update and manage Inspection Test Plan (ITP) documents to ensure quality control.

• Site Coordination:

  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all works meet required specifications and standards.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of earthworks and civil engineering principles.
