Site Engineer – Southern Water Framework

We’re looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project within the Southern Water framework in Southampton. This is a great opportunity to work on essential clean water and wastewater projects that directly impact local communities.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for setting out, quality assurance, and supporting the delivery of water infrastructure works across the site. Working closely with the project team, you’ll ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities

Setting out for water and wastewater infrastructure works

Interpreting drawings and technical specifications
-
Ensuring quality control and compliance with project standards

Supporting site management with daily engineering duties

Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
-
Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Site Engineer within the water sector (clean water or wastewater)
-
Experience working on frameworks such as Southern Water (or similar UK water utilities)
-
Strong setting out skills and familiarity with surveying equipment
-
Good understanding of health & safety regulations
-
Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
