Site Engineer – Hindley Station, Wigan (6-Month Contract)

We are seeking a self-sufficient and experienced Site Engineer to join our team for a 6-month project. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting out, quality control, and technical assurance, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site activities in line with Network Rail standards, approved drawings, and programme requirements.
- Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and Network Rail representatives.
- Resolve site issues proactively with minimal supervision.
- Assist with handover documentation and quality assurance processes.
Requirements:
- Current PTS and experience in live railway environments.
- Familiarity with Network Rail processes and handover documentation.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of working independently.
- Experience with Transport for Greater Manchester schemes is a bonus but not essential.
