Carmichael UK are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering water infrastructure projects across Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term programme within the water/wastewater sector, supporting key capital delivery schemes.
Duties will include:
- Setting out for water and wastewater infrastructure works including pipelines, drainage, and associated civils
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with design drawings, specifications, and ITPs
- Maintaining accurate site records, including as-builts and QA documentation
- Supporting delivery teams with technical queries, RFIs, and design coordination
- Monitoring subcontractor works to ensure quality and compliance
- Assisting with health & safety standards on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on water or utilities projects
- Strong setting out experience using Total Station / GPS
- Experience on pipelines, drainage, or water treatment works highly desirable
- Good understanding of QA processes and site documentation
- CSCS card (essential)
- SMSTS / SSSTS (advantageous)
