A freelance opportunity exists for Site Engineers with extensive experience and knowledge of the civils involved in the installation of comms on highway/smart motorway projects.
Your duties will include –
- Occasionally checking the setting out of the works and as-builts.
- Overseeing the comms subcontractors and foreseeing problems
- Issuing of permits,
- Inspection, productivity and quality reports
- Updating the program
- Completing the site diary
- Ensuring H&S
The requirement for this post is –
- HND/Degree in Civil Engineering
- Competent in setting out
- Experience of comms on highway projects or similar is essential
- Extensive knowledge on comms specification for highways advantageous.
- CSCS, First Aid, SMSTS
