Job Title: Site Engineer – FRC Works
Location: Peterhead, Scotland
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on an exciting FRC (Fibre Reinforced Concrete) project in Peterhead. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading Tier 1 contractor, overseeing high-quality concrete works and ensuring project standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and supervise subcontractors’ setting out activities (you will not be responsible for setting out yourself).

Conduct quality checks on FRC works, including reinforcement, formwork, and concrete pours.

Coordinate and oversee concrete pours, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.

Support the site team in maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.

Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality checks, and works progress.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with FRC or concrete works.

Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, and subcontractor management.

Experience monitoring setting out and supervising concrete pours.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND, BEng, or equivalent) is preferred.

CSCS card and relevant health & safety certifications.
