An established Highways contractor are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This business has been operating for over 50 years and have solidified their reputation in the UK market as being one of the most professional contractors that specialise within the Highways sector.
A position has opened for a Site Engineer due to an internal promotion and are looking for a competent Engineer to join the team and follow the same line of progression as your predecessor.
They are focusing on a Highways maintenance project outside of East London that will consist of Earthworks, Drainage, Kerbing and Paving on a long-term project which is expected to run until 2021.
Some of your duties will include:
- Accurate and timely setting out in accordance to drawings and designs
- Site set up and adhering to H&S company policies
- Liaising with Site Management and Senior Engineer with progress reports
- Recording and maintaining site diary
- As-Built drawings
- General site duties
About you:
- Educated to HNC/HND or BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience of working on Highways maintenance schemes
- Have a full UK driving license
- Stable career history
