Site Engineer Highways
Opportunities exist on this major highway improvement project for experienced and competent Site Engineers with previous long-term highways experience. Both staff and freelance post are available.
Experience in the construction of the central reserve, the concrete barrier, the relocation of drainage, concrete plinths, layerworks, surfacing, structural bridge repair, comms etc. on major highway projects, specifically in the UK, is advantageous.
Site Engineering duties include the following –
- Setting out of the works
- Creating asbuilts
- Interpreting and implementing the design
- Overseeing and tasking subcontractors and in-house teams with regards to RAMS
- Seeking approval for permits
- Adhering to the programme
- Ensuring Quality, health and safety
Site Engineer requirements include –
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Competent in setting out and creating asbuilts
- Previous experience on motorway projects advantageous
- Conscientious and collaborative in nature
- CSCS, First Aid
This is a long-term project. Perm opportunities are available and salaries range from £ £28k/a to £36k/a plus package.
