Site Engineer - Marine

This is an ideal freelance contract for a Marine Site/Setting Out Engineer with prior groundwork’s and reinforced concrete experience to work for the main contractor on a groundworks package for a major construction project in South West London. 

The works involve setting out for piles, guide walls and RC structures

This is a 3-month contract with the opportunity to move sites.

Your key responsibilities and duties will include: 

  • Setting out for piles and guide walls
  • Checking pile reinforcement cages
  • Recording QA data for piles
  • Recording as-builts and inputting onto record spreadsheet
  • Supervision of piling and RC works on site

The successful candidate will need to have the following requirements:

  • Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering
  • Proven Marine Experience
  • Previously worked as a Surveyor, Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
  • Competent in the use of Leica TS series Total Station
  • Hold a valid CSCS Card
