This is an ideal freelance contract for a Marine Site/Setting Out Engineer with prior groundwork’s and reinforced concrete experience to work for the main contractor on a groundworks package for a major construction project in South West London.
The works involve setting out for piles, guide walls and RC structures
This is a 3-month contract with the opportunity to move sites.
Your key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Setting out for piles and guide walls
- Checking pile reinforcement cages
- Recording QA data for piles
- Recording as-builts and inputting onto record spreadsheet
- Supervision of piling and RC works on site
The successful candidate will need to have the following requirements:
- Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering
- Proven Marine Experience
- Previously worked as a Surveyor, Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
- Competent in the use of Leica TS series Total Station
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
