Our client a major civil engineering contractor has recently been awarded the Gull Wing, the third crossing over Lake Lothing in Lowestoft in England.
 The £126.75m project will start in the spring of 2021, with the opening scheduled in the summer of 2023.
 
They require a Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be working within the Marine team.
 
Project Information: 
The Gull Wing across Lake Lothing will connect from Waveney Drive on the south side to Denmark Road and Peto Way on the north side of Lake Lothing.
It will be a lifting bridge that will allow tall vessels to pass through and will also be higher than the existing bascule bridge so that several boats can pass underneath without lifting the bridge.
 
As Site Engineer;
 
Within this role you would be responsible for, but not limited to, any of the following;
 
Role:
* General setting out on site
* Carrying out of quality control
* Meeting deadlines
* Providing a detailed technical input
* Ensuring a safe working practice
 
Skills:
* Previously worked as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
* Hold a valid CSCS card.
* BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent.
