Freelance opportunities exist for experienced Site Engineers/Setting out Engineers north of Glasgow. Solid experience in the setting out of piles off barges is an added advantage.
General duties will include -
- Setting out of offshore piling and precast concrete works
- Completing the as builts
- Implement and oversee safety
- Quality control
- Subcontractor management
Requirements include
- Proven continuous experience setting out offshore piles
- Experience in the construction of jetties, wharfs, coastal defence, piling etc. essential
- A civil engineering qualification or similar
- Willing to work on a rotating roster
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
