Carmichael are recruiting a Nightshift Site Engineer for works on a new major Network Rail Station just south of London
We are keen to hear from you if you have heavy civils experience working in a self-delivery team for a main contractor. Previous station/terminal experience would be highly advantageous.
This position will take you through to this time next and you will benefit from market competitive rates whilst working for one of the industry's leading contractors.
You will be working NIGHT SHIFT for the duration of the project from 7 pm -5 am.
As a Site Engineer for this scope of works, your duties will include:
• Assist the Night Manager on the heavy civils works
• Helping manage direct labour
• Carrying out quality inspections
• Recording accurate progress reports/site diary
• Handover to and from dayshift
If you would like to apply for the Site Engineer position, you will also need to demonstrate the following:
• Have previously worked on a major project with a main contractor
• Hold a construction-related degree or HNC
• Hold a valid CSCS Card
• Current PTS is highly desirable
