An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer on TWILIGHT (5am - 3pm) / NIGHT (8pm - 6am) SHIFT to join a Main Tier Civil Engineering contractor in West London at one of Europe's busiest airports.
You will be working within the civils team on an airport upgrade project in London. This is a pivotal role within an organisation who has been working with top tier clients on landmark projects. As an organisation, they undertake all aspects of civil engineering works including groundworks, pavement and build so experience within these fields is highly desired.
You will be responsible for:
-Assisting the Section Engineer on airside / landside delivery work packages
-Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
-Managing the sub contractors
-Setting Out
-Carrying out quality inspections
-Produce ITPs and as-builts
-Planning weekly and monthly programmes
Skills Required:
-Experience in pavement / airport / terminal construction
-Completed construction related Engineering Degree, HNC or similar
-Valid CSCS card
-Previously worked as a Site Engineer
-To have a sound knowledge of quality assurance and writing method statements and risk assessments
