CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site Engineer to work with one of our clients who carry our remediation and reclamation works. The project you will be working on is a bulk earthworks job in Birmingham. The job will run for a minimum of 6 months and we are looking for someone to start ASAP.
Responsibilities will include:
- Checking subcontractor setting out
- Working closely with the Foreman to ensure works are being carried out in line with specifications
- Writing permits and raising RFIs
- Supporting in the production of WPPs, ITPs and RAMs
- Progress reporting
- Task briefings
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Has experience working for a main contractor
- Has experience working on projects with bulk earthworks
