A one month freelance opportunity exist for a Rail Site Engineer starting in October. The works include the refurbishment and extension of platforms, laying of new track, drainage, electrification and signalling.
The site engineering duties will include
- Setting out and surveying of the works/site
- Producing RAMS, WPP and TBS
- Interpreting and implementing of the design
- Management of subbies and their non-conformances
- Quality control in accordance to the specifications
- Compiling asbuilts
- Permit clearances
- Health and Safety compliance
Requirements:
- HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Extensive experience on rail projects especially new platforms and piling
- CSCS, PTS, SMSTS, OLEC
- First Aid
- Other railway certification – ICI, COSS, etc
This assignment will include nights and weekend shifts.
