I have an urgent requirement for a site engineer for the A14 project in Cambridgeshire.
The £750+ million project will continue until 2020. Extensive highways and structures experience essential.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Competent in highway setting out – i.e. structures and roads
- Able to work in line with company policy with respect to quality assurance i.e. ensure that the works is constructed in accordance with the works information / specification and records are compiled in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans
- Robust knowledge of the Specification of Highway Works
- Familiar with GPS and TS (Leica)
- Experience with bridges are desirable
Skills & Experience:
- A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
- Competent at setting out using Leica equipment
- Experience working for a main contractor
- Supervisor qualifications ideally SSSTS
- CSCS qualification
- Basic site paperwork
