An inside IR35 opportunity exist for Site Engineer with experience in water and/or infrastructure project delivery. Reporting to the Site Agent, you will be responsible for proving engineering control and support to aid the delivery of a single larger site or multiple smaller scale projects with an emphasis on engineering control, site safety, quality and supervision ranging in value from £500k to £3m.
Duties will include –

Providing engineering control including setting out

Liaising with the commercial team and Project Manager in the management and resolution of change and subcontract management Issue of permits

Identify change and risks associated with site works

Check and review of Risk Assessments / Method Statements (RAMS) Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the design, client and engineering specifications

Develop and support the supply chain in development of Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring compliance with Quality Control requirements Leading the site quality control process, inspections and recording

Contributing to site collaborative planning and supporting the site agent in development of the project look-ahead programme, identifying change and risks.

Identification of blockers/issues and ensure that solutions are developed to resolve, escalating promptly where out of your area of control or influence.

Robust record keeping including diary records and identification of change supporting efficient handover of projects on completion through efficient record keeping
Requirements for this post include –

Strong engineering skills including setting out techniques
-
Knowledge and experience as a Site Engineer and in the application and principles of CDM in the capacity of Principle Contractor

Good understanding of Water and Wastewater treatment

HND in Civil Engineering or similar

SMSTS
-
EUSR, TWC, AP Lifting, confined spaces preferred how training will be provided
