My client, a Tier 1 contractor, is seeking a Site Engineer to work on a £400m framework starting in the beginning of December. The project is nearing its peak in the construction programme and therefore requires an additional Site Engineer, initially for a period of two to three months but with the possibility of an extension.
Role Information;
Your main responsibilities will include setting out / surveying, permits to dig, site diaries and quality assurance on site. However, you will also be required to assist with other site paperwork duties, including H&S and cost capture.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- A relevant Civil Engineering qualification (NQV/Degree)
- Valid CSCS card
- Extensive setting out, ITP and QA experience
- Ability to use of a robotic total station (1-man kit)
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Water industry experience
- Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor
- eCAT4+ Training
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
