A specialist earthworks contractor is looking for an experienced Site Manager capable of constructing an earth dam including the spillway, drainage, footbridge and related civils. You will be involved in the daily management and production of all the construction activities which include the following duties -
- Daily toolbox talks
- Daily and weekly planning
- Resource planning including materials and equipment
- Managing of staff
- Enforcing method statements
- Site administration including site diary, timesheets, and plant returns etc.
- Daily interaction with the client’s representative
- Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof
Requirements
- A construction or civil engineering qualification is preferred
- Previous management experience as a Stand-alone Site Manager
- Previous experience on a similar project
- Proven decision making capability
- A quick thinking problem solver
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- CIS registered if working through your Ltd Company
