An opportunity exists with an international principal contractor for an experienced Site Supervisor to manage subcontractors and in-house staff on hospital / building project. Experience in the construction of shopping centers, airports, hospitals, high-rise student accommodation etc advantageous
Your duties will include the following –
- Ensuring all work is conducted in a safe environment in accordance to the specifications and design
- Overseeing and directing subcontractors and in-house staff
- Ensuring all risk assessments and method statements are in order
- Conducting weekly temporary works inspections
- Planning the works including resources
- Management of materials and site tools
Requirements for this Supervisor post include –
- Certificate or diploma in the built environment
- Extensive experience managing staff on large projects
- Experience working for a principal contractor preferably a tier one contractor
- Experience on Live refurbishment projects
- Previous hands-on experience sought
- CSCS, SSTS and First Aid
