About the Role: Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Slinger/Signaller to join their team for a contract-based role in Devonport, Plymouth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Slinger and possess the necessary qualifications to perform the job effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Safely slinging and signaling loads of various types and sizes.
- Coordinating with crane operators and other site personnel to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
- Inspecting lifting equipment and ensuring it is used correctly and safely.
- Following site safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicating effectively with site personnel to coordinate lifting activities.
- Performing all duties in accordance with the guidelines set out in the CPCS Blue Card A40A (All Types, All Duties).
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS Blue Card A40A (All Types, All Duties) is essential.
- Proven experience as a Slinger/Signaller in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in lifting operations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with site personnel.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
