A freelance opportunity exists for Senior Civil Structural design Engineer with the structural analysis and design of, in particular, temporary works.
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and responsible for the delivery of civil and structural analysis, calculations, reports and specifications.
This is an outside IR35 opportunity where the candidate can work from home.
Duties will include the following –
- Communicate designs effectively to the BIM teams.
- Effective communication with other disciplines and construction teams.
- Occasionally visit sites, to conduct design reviews and client meetings.
- Support and aide more junior team members.
- Confident and authoritative in front of clients.
Requirements for this post include –
- Minimum BEng Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartership with ICE or IStructE preferred
- Competent and proficient in producing temporary works designs for industrial type projects.
- Confident structural design engineer with UK experience
- CSCS
