Our Trades & Labour Division have secured a number of key Infrastructure contracts across the UK, and we are currently looking for a Steel Fixer Chargehand for the HS2 Project, to be engaged on a long-term basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and erect steel components
- Positioning, assembling and fixing of different shapes and sizes of steel rebar to the correct specification and tolerance
- Ensure work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety
- Interpreting drawings and specifications in ordered to assemble and install the components correctly
- Direct tradespersons and support the General/Working Foreman
- Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times
Essential:
- CSCS Blue Skilled Card
- SSSTS
- Good communication skills
- Hard working
