CarmichaelUK are looking for a Sub Agent with roads experience to work with one of our key clients on a project which is part of a Highways England framework to upgrade the road network in the East of England and Essex over the next 3 years. Our client is currently carrying out surfacing and roadworks on the A12 running up until the end of the year. Starting early August, the work will be carried out at night so we are only looking for people willing to work purely on nights. The plan is for the incoming person to work on this project on nights until the end of the year and then move over to Stansted airport for work at the start of 2022.
You will be responsible for:
- RAMs and permits
- Working within Works Manager to oversee night works
- Management of engineers
- Task briefings
- 3-week lookaheads
- Progress reporting
- Ensuring work is carried out to the highest health & safety standards
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Has main contractor experience
- Has highways experience
