Our client is looking for a Sub Agent, to join their ever-expanding team, on the UK's largest infrastructure project, based in Central London

Reporting to the Agent, you will hold the overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the site & driving safe delivery.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Set the highest example for Health and Safety Requirements. Implement and assure compliance with all relevant and/or statutory requirements with regards to Health, Safety, Environment and Public relations within their scope of work.
  • Organise and lead risk reviews/collaborative RAMS reviews. Review and ensure RAMS, TBS, Lift Plans etc. are adhered to.
  • Review Clause 32 and provide feedback to planner
  • Ensure the progress of the works are in accordance with the contract, programme, budget and design requirements. Review 4WLAH once submitted and advise weekly progress/slippage
  • Review of temporary works design briefs and designs (in conjunction with TW team). Ensure temporary works installed as per design and liaise with TWS/TWC
  • Liaison with third parties and stakeholders for consents, applications, AIPs etc. (e.g. LUL/Camden/UKPN). Attend meetings where required.
  • Ensure consents are planned in advanced and in place when required (e.g. lane closures)
  • Provide direction and give feedback to section and site engineers. Ensure site engineers keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including any changes / variations, subcontractors’ attendance, and records of work
  • Internal liaison with the Work Package Managers, Design and Engineering Team, QA team and Cost Control.
  • Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Key point of contact for clients for project progress
  • Ensure engineers are empowered to drive the safe progress, carry out TBS checks on site and stop works where necessary
  • Ensure activities are co-ordinated by the site teams and engineers
  • Raise commercial communications such as EWNs, CENs, SIs as appropriate
  • Aid the commercial team in reviewing CEs where required. Attend commercial meetings such as risk reduction meetings

To be successful in this application you must have;

  • Proven experience with a Tier 1 contractor in the UK
  • Worked on a major project
  • Hold and HNC or higher in an engineering-related field
  • Have a valid CSCS card
