Carmichael are currently working with a tier 1 contractor who are working on a major Infrastructure Project based in Daventry. The ideal candidate must have bulk earthworks, cut and fill experience.
Your role as a Sub Agent will be to oversee the the rail yard project along with repair and repaving.
Some of your duties will include:
- Managing the subcontractor(s) appointed to the contract
- Working with the appointed quantity surveyors to accurately measure and value the works carried out
- Ensuring that all materials and plant used on site are of sufficient quality and quantity to complete the task in question
- Understanding method statements and risk assessments
- Maintaining the site to a high quality
- Planning, conducting, reporting and close-out of audits for subcontractors and suppliers
- Input and feedback into the development of the audit schedule
- Developing, recommending and monitoring preventative actions
- Complying with company policies and procedures
- Drafting quality assurance plans
About you:
- Educated to degree level
- Sub-contractor experience
- Experience of drainage and earthworks packages
- Strong team player
- CSCS Card holder
