Carmichael are recruiting for a Sub Agent for a major heavy civils package in Silvertown.
We are keen to hear from you if you have construction experience in groundworks, piling, RC Structures.
This role is expected to last minimum 6 months - INSIDE IR35 PAYE.
As a Sub Agent for this scope of works, your duties will include:
- Assist the Agent on the delivery packages
- Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
- Managing the subcontractors and site engineers
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Liaison between the Agent and client on site
- Produce ITPs and as builds
- Planning weekly and monthly programmes
If you would like to apply for the position, you will also need to demonstrate the following:
- Have previously worked on a major heavy civils package
- Previously worked as an experienced Sub Agent / package manager (preferably with a main contractor)
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of quality assurance, writing method statements and risk assessments
- Hold a construction related degree or HNC
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
