A widely recognised Civil Engineering contractor are searching for a Sub-Agent to add to their team on a permanent basis
Having been established for over 60 years, they have a long history of dealing with some of the most challenging projects across the UK within the Highways, Marine, Rail and Environmental sectors.
They require an experienced Sub Agent with knowledge of Highways, and Infrastructure to work on schemes throughout the Cambridgeshire area up to the value of £25m.
They take pride in retaining and developing their staff with many of their senior management starting their careers and progressing through the ranks and are now managing several key projects and divisions.
Your duties:
- Attend pre-start and Site Agent briefing meetings
- Manage and assist in the planning and implementation of site set-up
- Manage HSEQ issues on site
- Manage plant, labour and materials
- Liaise with clients representatives or consultants in a professional manner
- Produce RAMS for health and safety plan
Skills/Qualifications:
- HNC or above in Construction Management or Civil Engineering related course
- Stable career history (they will not consider freelance)
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black Card
- Temporary Works Supervisor
- AP Lifting
- First Aid
