A long term, inside IR35, opportunity exists for a competent rail Sub Agent. Experience taking a project from preconstruction to hand-over is sought after.
Experience in bridge construction, earthworks, drainage, station upgrades and embankment stabilisation advantageous.
Duties will include –
- Assisting the Site Agent
- Completing WPP, TBS, risk assessments and site permits
- Monitoring and reporting on costs and progress
- Management of subcontractors and Engineers
- Attending Network Rail and site meetings
- Ensuring and implementing health and safety
Requirements for this position include –
- Extensive experience on rail projects working for a principal Contractor
- Preferably a civil engineering qualification
- Excellent motivational and communication skills
- PTS
- CSCS, First Aid
- TWC, AP would be beneficial
