Carmichaels are seeking a Sub Agent with good technical knowledge on infrastructure projects to work on HS2 in Birmingham.
The Scope of work includes:
- Bridges
- Pilling Works
- Structural Temporary Works (Pilling Platforms, Precast Elements (Lifting Operations), Scaffold, Formwork, Rebar Stability, etc.)
- Design checks and verification (including Reinforcement Drawings and Bar Bending Schedule checks, Concrete Outline verifications, compliance with SCEW (Specifications similar to the SHW – specifications for highways works)
- Temporary Works support and checks
- Heavy Concrete Works
- Lifting Operations (Beams and Parapets)
- Precast Elements Installation
- Other Structural Activities such as Deck Waterproofing, Structural Drainage, etc.
Requirements;
- HNC or higher in an engineering-related field
- Current CSCS
