Carmichael UK: Contract Sub Agent Wanted for Flood Scheme in Dorset
We are working in partnership with a client to find an experienced and motivated Contract Sub Agent for a Flood Scheme in Dorset. This role is for a minimum of 6 months, with an umbrella PAYE rate from £400-£450 per day.
The ideal candidate should have experience as a Sub Agent and particular experience skills in earthworks, civil engineering, flood defence, or reservoir construction. An ICI certificate, CSCS card, and an in-date SMSTS/Site Managers Safety Training Scheme is essential.
As the Contract Sub Agent, your duties will include:
- Contributing to health and safety on-site
- Managing and providing technical advice on earthworks operations
- Providing detailed oversight and management of site works
- Liaising with client representatives and on-site engineers
- Carrying out daily tasks and compliance duties
- Working collaboratively with workforce on the ground to ensure best performance
- Identifying value engineering and cost saving opportunities
- Attending progress meetings and managing clients' expectations
