Carmichael are recruiting for a Sub Agent, with demonstrable experience in highwasy and drainage, for a tier one client on a major infrastructure project.
Responsibilities -
- Support the Site Agent in managing a significant section of the project as the Sub-Agent
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and project specific standards
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence
- Promote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team members.
- Support the Site Agent with cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs and forecasts through commercial awareness.
- Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
- Identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
- Create a programme to plan and measure the day-to-day activities.
- Quality assurance in accordance with the specification including producing and populating inspection test plans.
Requirements for this role -
- Relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience
- Working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the ICE.
- Temporary Works Coordinator preferred
- Knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably on a HS2 project.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to work.
- Commercial and Contractual awareness
- Liaise in a professional manner with Client, Client Representatives, General Public.
- Proven people and project management skills.
- Good organisational skills
